thanks guys, I wanted a little feedback before I posted what it is
Didn't want the price to sway the opinions
2 rolls @ $11.99 each + tax and an afternoon of working on this = a $26.02 alternative to the $400 MS CF kit
you can still see a small part of silver by the parking brake(I will fix that eventually) But I am happy with it.

Looks good in the photos.
A good solution for scratched up silver trim.
Silver vinyl would work for the folks who want to make it look stock, but want something tougher than paint.

cool.
Yes, because we all know the center console trim weights 562.4lbs and is what is really holding the 8 back from it's true potential
That extra 5-oz of the trim is gonna make him add 2-seconds in the 1/4 mile. What was he thinking!!!???
The trim looks hawt- post a link where you got it from, I'm seriously considering it!

^ NgoRX8 got it right
I picked it up from pepboys. It was near the pin striping stuff. I had typed it in before but I deleted it for some reason....oops. I have issues with the pepboys website and couldn't actually find this on there, but I am sure you will be able to find it if you go in there.
I didn't see other cf colors, but they did have solid colors that some might be interested it.
Chickenwafer, thanks for answering that.
Actually I did it because I got the MS shift **** and after looking at it I decided I wanted the sides CF to match. Typically I am not a cf fan but I saw this and decided to try it. and there was no way I was paying ~$400 for the ms kit.
The film seems like it will stay for awhile, especially since it doesn't move ever.
I think I answered the questions, thanks for the responses.

Damn a Pepboys special definatly would not of guessed.. Congrats though on a good find for a cheap mod.
I might have to check this out and see if they also have a piano black type film. Keep on flipping between having those sides painted piano black or just going a CF route.

That looks excellent in pics. And would consider it, only reservation being what happens to the adhesive and plastic in the heat of the summer sun...does it stay put and stuck or shrink and peel up. Guess you'll find out for us!
Good resourceful job!
