Thanks...I've been wanting to show up for any type of meet. But for those of you who were there at Sonic, I'm sure you'll see that my time is budgeted for my little girl. I don't think anyone saw it but she did have two toy cars that she was playing with. Now, I just have to find two small little RX8s to swap those other cars out with :D

 

dammit, i wish i didn't have duty that weekend or else i totally would've gone. it's been awhile since i have been to a car meet.

Yea. This is why I stay away from gray. But the 8's look good.

 

I'm loving the gold rims.

 

I love the gold rims too. Does anyone know what paint code was used on those rims? I guess I'll search.

 

No Paint Code needed. Just went to an local Autostore and purchased some Gold paint for Wheels. Took my time, and had a friend come over with an spray gun. I think they came out really good. Alot of people are really liking the gold.

So it was gold spray paint or wheel paint in a can that you could load into a spray gun? Have you had any issues with chipping during tire mounting, etc?

 

I got the Titanium Gray color because I'm lazy. I used to have a black car (I love black cars) that I had to wash almost on an every-other-day basis. Now, I just wash it when I need to wash it and it does my sanity wonders :D

 

It was Wheel paint can version that was able to load into a spray guy. Little chipping when putting the tires back on. but touch it up, and it would of been a lot easier if I just keep the tires on. nobody is going to see the inside. but I will most like do a little touch here and there. depends when I have the time. But everybody says the are liking the gold more and more.

 

Makes me want to paint my stocks a unique color too

Did you spray a clear coat over them?
