I did this to practice getting used to the wacom tablets, I thought it came out rather well :cwm27: but not really anymore :]

The first pic reminds me of that new rotoscopicing animation process. Either that or I'm just high.

Here's a few pointers...
- Don't even look at that tutorial posted earlier, it was a pretty pathetic tut.
- Use the pen with paths for obvious body lines. (Hood, windshield, etc.) Paths can be found in the box along with layers and channels. select any layer, create new path, and then use the pen. when you're done with the path, stroke.
- Keep it organized with lots of layers. Name them if you have trouble remembering
- Some people use gradients for details, I just tend to airbrush most everything... I guess that's really up to you.
- Pick a picture that's clear. Less image glare, the easier, unless you intend to vector that too.
Oh, and filters (besides blur and sharpen) pretty much suck.
