Looks good. It's very popular at the S2000 forum to have a cell shaded version of their S in their signature.https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...id=80158&stc=1

Both of those are very cool.
|
Oh No! Im In Cartoon Land!!
|

- pen tool - lots of layers - lots of gradients |
I like the second red one. Do one with a bodykit!

Me and IzoomzoomI are going to take some pics this weekend, so if you have time, maybe you can do one of those photos. |

I have that game for my xbox... its pretty bad. But the graphics are nice.
|
not bad, but your vectors are definetely messy.

anyone interested in "cell shaded" rx8? I did of the RE-amemiya rx8 awhile back. I'll see if I can find it. Never got around to releasing it because I never finished it/wasn't great though.

had to shrink it, and it looks like i never finished the back -_-
I did this to practice getting used to the wacom tablets, I thought it came out rather well :cwm27: but not really anymore :] I guess you wouldn't REALLY call this cell shading though... https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...id=80510&stc=1 I think i got lazy on the wheels and left them gloss black too haha |

The first pic reminds me of that new rotoscopicing animation process. Either that or I'm just high.

Here's a few pointers... - Don't even look at that tutorial posted earlier, it was a pretty pathetic tut. - Use the pen with paths for obvious body lines. (Hood, windshield, etc.) Paths can be found in the box along with layers and channels. select any layer, create new path, and then use the pen. when you're done with the path, stroke. - Keep it organized with lots of layers. Name them if you have trouble remembering - Some people use gradients for details, I just tend to airbrush most everything... I guess that's really up to you. - Pick a picture that's clear. Less image glare, the easier, unless you intend to vector that too. Oh, and filters (besides blur and sharpen) pretty much suck. |
thouse are hot.. i love what you can do.. teach me!!
