lol the murcielago probably left his lift suspension up. probably wasn't going fast enough for it to come down. you can see a cop watching us leave in the picture of the vette. haha
Wow... This event is a car lover's dream - I've only been through the first half of the pages of pictures on that guy's site, but its just... Amazing!!! how many awesome cars are there...
when the image comes out clear, that's because a rig was used. with the rig, they hook it up to the car so the car is crisp and everything else is a blur. with rig photography, you get the feeling that the car is going 100 mph when really it's going 10
the rig is later photoshopped out of the image, and lots of artists like to add some effects to make it look more aggressive.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/rigshots/pool/ <-all done using rigs. some photos in there actually show you how they set it up.
the technique used here is called panning. that's when the photographer moves with the car to keep it in that same position throughout the exposure. it can come out clear if you're moving at the same pace, but there's typically a slight blur around the edges. this is because the car is moving faster, and the photographer is further away.

but i thought that you were wondering why some look really cool, others don't, how they do it, blah blah blah. i don't actually know who took them though. so, if he's not an amateur, sorry

and thank you

I'm gangsta like that.
That would be cool to see and get it on camera, and see the cop just choke off the smoke from you tires
