the only cf thing i have ever seen fit properly is the trunk....and i have only seen pics of xdeed's trunk and the guy from MD with the cf 8 (his name escapes me)

 

i will admit that looks horrible i dont have that front bumper problem at all tho mine flows right its just a tad bit short from the hood and the finders on mine have good lines and the back bumper sticks out a lil bit like that as well but to b honest it really doesnt bother me i still like it i'll post up close pics later when i get out of class

isn't this the kit I saw at SevenStock 9?! It was on a blue RX-8 that they didn't even park in the "show" area but off in the auxiallary parking next to the building.

Props on trying to do CF but the fitment looks like it sucks.

 

I dont think anyone has mentioned it but if you want CF skirts too, chargespeed makes them. they are subtle, but none the less cf.

 

Instead of tellin the guy about a sh!tty fitting kit why dont you guys cheer him on for taking the risk. Its his money.... If he makes it fit, and line up somehow im sure the final product would be nice.

 

Damn excellent fitment for real...Anyhow i hope u have a better fitment than the guys in the pics..

Btw these parts as inspire said are not as lightweight as carbon fiber can be..I m probably be getting handmade custom 100% carbon fiber parts on my car and i ll post weights etc..The trunk i m going to have weight 3kg!!and the roof 2kg!!and the hood 5 or less.and from strenght damn this thing cant brake or get in fire...

Anyhow i would love to see carbon doors on an 8 just to see how they look like..I dont want to overkill it

I looked into that exact kit, but I really wasnt too sure. Was really worried about fitment.. Cant wait to see final pictures.

 

Who wants to try these? Curious about the weight.. I don't think I would do it, unless it was a pure track car.

Carbon fiber front doors???Any links cause i couldnt find front doors just rear..I wont do it but the savings would be huge with 100% real carbon in and out of the door if u consider that the front doors are around 50kg..

i would shoot myself if i ever bought any knock off ms parts again. I bought some knock off side skirts from ebay and they fit horribly. For anyone thinking about buying cheap **** to save money, you're wrong, you'll end up spending double the money. Real Deal all the way!
