However, the Miata is faster. 13.59 @ 105 MPH.
Poor RX-8 hasn't seen an actual dragstrip, yet.
I'm not sure. I can't tell an STI from a regular WRX most of the time.
Last time I had the Miata at the strip, it must have been "Subaru Day" because there were dozens of them.
I only lined up against 6 or 7 different ones, but the result was pretty much the same for them all in that I couldn't see them anymore by mid track.

For future reference:
regular WRX = beat by the ugly stick (smaller flare spoiler, small hood scoop)
STI WRX = the ugly stick itself (giant box spoiler, huge hood scoop)

I agree the Subaru Impreza is ugly. Sort of looks like a blue cinderblock with a body kit.
But the details that separate the the regular WRX from the STI are hard to determine once the car is behind me and off to one side.
