Here's a pic of me and my friends' cars parked together. The photo was taken on the canadian Thanksgiving weekend (sorry it took so long for me to post this). The small town we were staying in, have many small, twisty roads and needless to say, the four of us couldn't resist going for a little drive :p . As we were driving down the road, heads were turning left and right! lol we had an amazing time! Anyways enough talking and I hope you enjoy!

Yes. There is a funny story behind that actually. I live in a small town, but the dealer here still managed to get there hands on 2 RX-8s! A velocity red 8 GS manual, and a titanium grey 8 auto. The day it finally arrived at the dealer, I fell in love and knew right then and there that that was my dream car! I went back to tell my mom about it and she said "alright, lets get the red one" ...I would never have expected her to say that! But anyways the next day, I went back to the dealer to get the paperwork started, only to find out that a person had bought it already! I was beyond disapointed. I searched and searched all over the island for a red RX-8 only to come up empty-handed. In the end , I had to settle for a sunlight silver from another dealer on the mainland, since it was my second colour choice (red being my first) The lesson here.... be a compulsive car buyer:D

I know that the Honda would be fastest, but what would the remaining order be? any thoughts?

 

RX-8 is the oddball; no mods. Or maybe the S2K; only seats 2 and is a ragtop. Bummer about not getting the red; you and your friends would look so hot cruising the backroads. But at least you got the coolest car in the bunch, making you definitely the oddball.

I bet you got some beautiful countryside to drive through. You might even have to slow down from time to time to look . I've been enjoying driving my new 8 in the mountains around Chattanooga, TN recently. It's been great but after 2 weeks and 1400 miles I'm looking at 36,000 miles a year. Gotta slow down the pace a little.

You are absolutely correct wahoo. Many people come to Newfoundland for the amazing scenery. The Targa rally event began here 2 years ago because of the small twisty roads along the country side. Many drivers from all over the world come here to have fun and enjoy the hospitality as they go from stages to stages (or town to town).

I have here some sites you can check out if you want. You also might have seen the rally on Speed Channel. There are many rare and exotic cars (like the 1 remaining 1938 Alfa Romeo est. worth $1'000'000.00) along with modern race machines like the (Porsche 911 Turbo and Dodge Viper) Maybe you might want to bring your RX-8 here next fall and join the rally?

Actually the Subaru probably is, I think the old RS is very cool, but they weren't eactly fast.
