Calling all Winning Blues
Doesn't look that bad to me. Kind of dirty though. My 8 is pretty clean, but not perfect. It looks used, but clean.
Guess I am used to the filthy engine bay of my 1998 Ford Escort which gets doused in rust proofing chemicals once a year. It's pretty necessary up here in Ottawa. It paid off though... almost no rust on a 12 year old car. My 8 won't go through this though as it is for summers only. Phew.

Im going to clean it today....yesterday my super comes to me and asks me "hey you have too much vacation days left, do you want tomorrow off"? I was like ok!...I get 1 month vacation a year.
^^^Hahhaa, seriously ....I got a $20 autozone card so I guess i can pick some cleaning products up! BTW...I am thinking of painting my intake either Brillian Black...Or Winning Blue... What do you guys think? Polished (I do like it a lot) but sometimes looks too Racey....And after going to the SPOCOM show this weekend. I seen that not a lot of people do Polished anymore they do carbon fiber, or matching paint.....For Example...Look at this 2JZ...

Ive never like polished because after a month or so it gets foggy and scrathes easily. Yeah sure you can polish it all the time but after a while it will even stain....
^^^^i was thinking about it.... but for the price that i got this AEM intake, I can get the intake (probably am) getting it painted matching Winning Blue for like $50, or get it wrapped in CF....Ill let you know tomorrow....
I dont like the polished loook

He's going to get a 10lb bag of sand, run the engine, take off the filter, and pour the sand into the intake. This is the proper way to port and polish your internals.
(Anybody remember the kid that did this to his car?)
