FL Crystal White Pearl

Just got a Crystal White Pearl 2007 RX-8 GT, not sure if there is a thread for that color, let me know and I'll post it there!

Traded in the wife's well used 2000 Mustang GT for the car, got a killer deal (IMO) at Daytona Nissan, think the sticker price was 17K something with 18K miles on it. It is a fully loaded Grand Touring with everything except the Navi (I like maps anyways). I absolutely love the car and being a Online Race Shop owner and Mazda racer (Spec Miata) the car was on my radar for a while.

We at 5x Racing are planning on doing a "Project MPG" on the car, monitoring gas mileage in stock form and performing upgrades that could increase gas mileage all while recording the findings. I have created a page on our site that we will use to provide the info on the project, if you'all are interested or can provide any advice on what parts are said to increase gas mileage while not sacrificing performance let me know, you can contact me directly using the "contact us" on the bottom of our webpage.

Here is a link to the webpage, it is still in its infancy so keep posted for updates:

I don't like the blue stickers on the wheels too much, but overall I like the car. What are the specs on the wheels and tires?

Just installed clear corners, thanks to Blackenedwing's donating his now that his Tsunami bumper doesn't use corners.

Had it for a couple of months. Clear corners are a must... Getting tint in a week or two, and thinking about side aero flares.

Got a new good pic last night on the way back from Lime Rock, I-90 in Mass. Please excuse the bugs. They didn't move fast enough.

yeah I noticed it when I bought it, obviously a previous owner addition. I researched if that was a factory option and could not find any info, but after looking closer I can see that it was after the fact, either a dealer add on or the previous owner had it done, as there is signs of overspray. I wad worried that it was an accident repair, but there are no other signs of repair, and the overspray on the underbody proves that if it was damaged it was strictly cosmetic. Personally I like the flat black better, the wife likes the white better, either way its getting a mazdaspeed front and an undecided rear bumper in the future. Thanks for the compliments though!

I got this shot yesterday for those that don't recognize the beauty in the paint of the WWP, since 99.9% of pictures of our cars turn out just 'white'. Anyone will tell you, a clean WWP in-person in the light looks like this up to ~10 feet away.

Actually, I just want an excuse to post this pic. I love my 8.
