T, did you get that wheel/tire combo at Wheelmax? That is exactly the size combination they recommend for the RX-8(although I don't see the offset mentioned) They guarantee that their recommendation will fit without rubbing. I'm looking to get wheels from them with rubber the same size you have, so I have great interest in the fit.

I already posted this in this forum - but not on this thread.. and since it's a VR I figure I'd share

Well I finally did it!

Got rid of my stock crap -

I got a set of Falken Circuit Spec 19" x 8 +45 from wolfy_hockey88 with gunmetal spokes (although it's hard to tell in the pics because of the sun) Falken is local for SoCal, orange county - so if you are thinking about them, thats a major bonus

I got Falken 542 tires to put on them (245-35-19) - for 140 each - better deal than anything from tirerack same thing about them being local - the guy came an delivered to my door in his van for free

I got a new set of TMPS from Rx8urZ to put on there

and I got a set of drilled and slotted rotors from Rotora... I think it all came together really nice. (also local, up in chino)

I wanted to put some Rays red lugnuts on there -but the ones I bought wouldn't fit into the rim.. so i went with black.. and i need to return the red ones. they were a rip off anyways. something to think about if you are getting rims, because I had NO idea untill i showed up to the place and it was waaaay to late.

I got them mounted at Discount Tire in Orange.. they did really good work, but I think they overcharged a bit.
