Just curious because when i changed the fogs i took the wheel well off

^ I'm interested. It was a pain to get to the fogs. I went through the bottom of the car and the plastic screw things were a pain.

Could be a pre-load issue then. See, I thought it looked a bit off.

Oh yea, I need to get my new friend on here. He just bought a VR 8 as well. Ahhhh....memories of the 8 being all stock.

I had to install the Ballast boxes, so I removed the bumper.

Since one of the bulbs was bad I just removed the fog light assembly (3 screws) to keep off the car while I wait for the bulb to get here.

Taking the bumper off is easy enough that it was the laziest/easiest option at the time

I dont believe there is any easy way to re attach that with the bumper still on the car, but when I put it all back together I'll give it a try! lol

Not when you don't have oil coolers on either side

lol yeah that would have made things a whole lot easier, wouldnt have needed to remove the bumper at all! but then i wouldnt have had that awesome spot to mount the ballast either i guess.

^Your car needs a drop and some kind of appearance package to flow with your wheels.

Trust me, I agree, but the motor comes first. Once my bridge port is done and in the car, body and suspension are next.

I like the foil. Can you check to see if you can put in a support bracket for the Master Cylinder?

Check out Richard Pauls.

You got it! I did it for a few reasons.

1. It is functional.
2. The "bling" factor in which it really draws attention and 1st place trophies at auto shows. The judges love the originality.
3. To be different.

Thx! I know Hymee very well, who I believe knows Richard. In fact I designed the Performance Design Australia website. http://www.performancedesign.com.au/

I'm also working on a deal with Jon Mirachi, owner of Racers Edge Motorsports. Stay tuned for a whole new look.

SHUT UP. I was perusing this forum because I just got my Velocity Red (my last RX8 was Sunlight Silver) and I saw that you're from Waukesha. SO AM I (although I live in Ohio now). That's crazy. Maybe we'll cruise past each other when I'm home for a visit!

Wow. Now that IS weird. I am originally from Ohio (Barberton) and now in Waukesha. Looks like we just traded places.

Zoom, Zoom!
