Calling all Titanium Grays
I got my strakes from someone off the board, they were NIB. They were TiG but I wanted something more contrasting so I painted them along with the vent itself.
Haven't decided what color my eyelids will be just yet, but they will be matte/satin black like the rest of the accents.

As with many things people do, some will like it, some wont. I don't like the way the straight lips look. Boring. So on my personal vehicle I wanted it to be a little different.
As far as manuvering I've made it over some bump where I'll get out and notice I woulda scraped anyways going over at an angle.

I have personally never seen another vehicle with the wheels other than Brians. when I had the chance to grab them, why not. That's like saying if someone had the Mona Lisa up for sale and another person bought it it is now a copy. That's silly to assume. The originality of it changes none.
The chances of doing something or buying something 100% original is little to none, by looking at your vehicle it proves this point that its easy to blend in with the crowd.
10 more people could buy the wheels and they be passed around, until they flood the market like 18/19" black faced rims (Hell I did it too), or low profile TE Volks and what not, its original. I said they had originality back when he had em and they still do now. He didn't invent that look, nor that style. I admired Miatas and RX7s rocking treaded setups like that years ago. But its still a good look.
Thanks guys. If Brian was still rocking the same wheels now I'd semi agree with the point he "attempted" to make. He's taking my pride for arrogance... I'm proud of how the car turned out and many others are as well, so I'm happy, thats what matters most to me. I'm already working on another new look, so soon someone else will have a chance to rock these "unoriginal" wheels. lulz!

its just seems that from the top of the lip not matching the line of bumper you did everything you could by splitting it to make it fit, and then justify it as trying to be original...
I dont believe that anyone is attacking you but theres really no clear view of why you did it,,, why haven't you go split your hood in half and reseems it with a pinch in the middle, Im guessing its because it fits just fine,,,
Im not trying to be an *** but what sparked this idea...
And thinking outside the box has nothing to do with looking good either for those who are concerned...
you r car looks great but its not because your chin spoiler is pinched thats all...

why are you getting so upset Brandon,,,
no one here is really diggin in,,, and T-Rex-8 seems comfortable with the critcisms
And thats all they are, criticism, not personal attacks,,,
I dont have a problem with T-Rex-8 or you but if your not a person that can take criticism every now and then, then you really have no business being on a public forum...

I don't know, I kind of like the slightly beat up, weekend drifter look that a lot of S13's rock. I think T-ReX-8 has pulled this off nicely. It's not a completely clean 8, it's a little rough around the edges. Broken (or modified) front lip, holes in the side from missing aero flare, crazy wheels that require body modification to fit, flat black accents and raw CF. Not exactly clean but it works.
