juiceRx8, please tell me about the replacement face plate for your DVD addition and the telephone mount. I want details! :D Can the face plate be painted? Is it custom? Is it metal or plastic? How much and where?

Also, does the top display the correct radio station? How do you set the clock?

Another silver RX8 here...

Mostly stock though I do have nav, two tone black/red leather, upgraded speakers, GT packaging, areo flares, front dam, sidewall dams and a cover bra for the front (not thrilled about that but there is a ton of construction aroud here and lots of little projectiles waiting to scratch that silver.

Pics to follow soon...

I custom made the kit out of fiberglass resin. It took me about 4 months to make and install. You wouldn't believe what was involved! The stock radio resides in the trunk, mounted to a facial panel. It is still functional, that's why the lcd display is still there. I can use it as a second cd player Via the aux in my Alpine iva-d300, so I can watch a movie and listen to the radio or a cd. The steering wheel can control both head units via a switch and a steering wheel control interface by PAC.
