I'm thinking about a 20mm drop when I get coilovers, probably in the spring. The roads and curbs are so bad here that I worry about much more than that. Also when I install my front lip spoiler it's going to get dicey.

Going with the new profile tires actually dropped it a bit already, with the additional 20mm drop it should be about right. A 50mm drop seems excessive, but I can live with half that.

Thanks Sifu, your SS is looking slick as well. That drop is aggresive! My next mod will probably be swapping out the Koni & S-Tech's with HKS III's. Not sure if I'll drop low as you though.....hmmmm

I had that Koni setup too and it didn't drop enough for my taste. Your car would look dope going lower!

I was shopping for the Vertex kit also but with canards. But that didn't happen bc I am saving up for my project car. But man I am tired of my current front end haha.

 

Yeah Koni & S-Tech were ok with stock but now that I have the kit it's time to do a max drop.

Project car? 8 Makeover or new ride? I've always like the Autobahn. Not many SS with that front.

 

New ride. Looking to do an SC300 and boost it with a simple drop and kit. I might be letting the gf daily drive it for now.

The RX8 is going to be on hold for awhile unless I get tempted to do something I should've done along time ago and get the Vertex Kit haha. I am already getting tired of the Autobahn . My plans for the 8 won't happen for awhile but I want to enjoy her the way she is now.

Haha man don't get me started! I almost purchased an SC300 that would come with the Vertex Ridge kit that is brand new. Having two Vertex cars sounds crazy if I also do the 8 haha.

Just got mine around 6 months ago, and I could not be more hooked on the silver. It was not my choice when I was shopping...but this car and this color are perfect. I want to change some things, but I'm having a hard time making up my mind! Exhaust, spoiler, appearance...I don't know what to do first.

I am pretty envious of what some of you have got going on. Hopefully I'll have some time while she's garaged this winter to do some work...

2007 with 42,000 (mostly) highway miles. Runs like butter.
