ADVMYTH, did you have to modify the engine cover to get it to fit over the Mazdaspeed strut bar?

I always figured in order to have the Mazdaspeed strut that you had to do away with the engine cover.

Thanks! Yeah, it was fun. We were hoping to get some more membership out of it, but so far, no dice. But we had a lot of fun and people seemed to enjoy the cars. One of the guys behind me told me I was getting a lot of compliments on my exhaust. Had to engage in some revving for the kiddies

I drove the 8 to Upper marlboro this past weekend to the local FOP #89 Fallen Heros Car /Truck / Motorcycle show and entered my car. The proceeds go to a good cause and it was cool hanging out with the big boys. Anyway, I have a few pics of my car from the show... Oh yeah, I won a trophy too!!

I will get some better shot when I get my car back, and yes they are the Rota Torques. Funny thing is everyone says they are total crap and worthless and will break, but I got hit by some girl. DIRECT HIT on the Rota, and it didn't break or crack, NOTHING. So not bad for the money IMO.

 

Hey Bumble Bee! I got them on Ebay, but they are only on when at a show, the gas petal cover doesn't fit all the way on. I think it was the cheapest mod of all!
