qzeek, those are some nice looking wheels you have there also. Funny that the first mod everyone seems to do is clear corners. Looks like Mazda would just make them clear to start with.

Nice qzeek!

I think not having a spoiler gives an illusion that the car is lower. Reminds me of the back of a Lexus SC430, very cool

Here are a few pix of my 8

Splitters installed.
I purchased from a forum member and modified them to fit the MS bumper.

Cut the rear section of the splitter to give it the right angle for accenting the bumper.

Rounded the edges so it didn't look like it came out of a cookie cutter.
Primed, painted, cleared and a ton of wet sanding in between.
Best painting I have ever done.

Couple of these show the difference between the Mazda bumpers
All have stock GT suspension.

Nice car Juikster!

The front nose reminds me a bit of a manta ray or a person's face with a lot of wind and g-force being applied to it The point before they just look ugly where you can clearly see the force being put on it not to the point of flapping

not to be rude, but it looks a little busy. not exactly a clean look. looks like an f1 car, and not in a good way, with all that's going on up front. long as you like it man.

Yah, the picture was not taken with the intent of posting. I don't have photoshop, but if anyone wants to touch it up, I'll gladly send the original.

Just Recently got a used 04' RX-8 >8^3 Very happy with it so far. Just took some pics today for you all to enjoy. Not much to set mine apart from the rest yet but am planning to do some work very soon. Pics right outside my house in beautiful La Quinta, CA! Too bad I wont be here for much longer as I will be heading out to the Fullerton area soon for college. I think Sunlight Silver is amazing and all the ones posted here so far sure show that! Anyhoo enjoy my pics.

^ You have red inserts on your seats. That is not the norm for a Sunlight silver from what I have seen

^^^ Why not? There is/was a Silver 8 in my city and the guy had red inserts. But he disappeared so it was probably cursed, lol.

I was pointing out something that sets his car apart

Fewer with red inserts than black.

Seen one with custom silver inserts. Think it was RXHawk's car.

Looks good.

Lets not mention any curses lol. I personally love the look of the red/black leather a lot and I'm surprised there arent more sunlight silvers with it. I am however going to get clear corners ASAP for sure >;D The Orange isnt meshing well lol.

I am planning on giving myself a little birthday present and am going to get a custom leather interior done at the nearest classic soft trim. I need some opininons on what would look better. I like the idea of the Black with Silver inserts but I also really like the look of black on black with a silver trim maybe. I guess there is no point in that though since I could almost have gotten the exact same from the factory with the GT. But I didn't care for heated seats since it is hardly ever cold here and a sunroof was a good bit more weight. Plus, let's not forget how overpriced the GT packaged was. 4gs seems a little much for leather, sunroof, and low beam hid. But what do you guys think? Black with black inserts and silver trim or black with silver inserts and black trim?
