How do you get rid of it and why?

Peel it off, its a sticker, and it makes the car look cheap. just my 2c.

its not always a sticker....gotta be careful with them...sometimes its painted.....but apostle is right....it doesnt look right on the car....but the color is hawt!

Love the color, the first one to tempt me beyond my yellow and the pinstripe is horrid. Did the dealer do that?

nice darker color blue, i still like my phantom blue mica better... but that might just be because i've got a couple more years to pay it off... either way.. i'd check into getting rid of the pinstripe and tinting the windows out the wazzoo, but that's just my thoughts

Not sure if its the lighting, but it looks kinda dull. I'm sure its a beautiful color, but need to find reasons to like my WB more...

would be my 2nd choice after Titanium grey. looks good. aaaaaaand....get rid of the pinstripe! lol unless you like it

btw, if it is a sticker and not painted (hope not) after you peel it off, use bug/tar remover to clean the rest of the sticky off, or lighter fluid, then wash and wax :)

download the file to your desktop first, then add the .jpg extenstion. They you can see the photos.

The pinstripes were already on! I'll see if i can peel them off. I am however going to install an antenna so I can put a tennis ball on it! Thanks for the input folks....
Update.... Got the pinstripes off in like 10 minutes they just peeled and were kinda stretchy like electrical tape. Only left residue on one small section which i got off. Thanks guys for helping me keep from lookin' cheap! I like it much better without the stripes. I can't figure out what the hell they put them there for? I'll post some better pics tomorrow on a different site so folks don't have a problem seeing them. |
I think you got the package combo I like, basically Stormy blue with Sand leather, except you got extra SAT radio there... Where are you located? How much did you pay? so far the only stormy blue I see in SoCal are sports package. |

color looks great and the pin strip is ok although it would look better with out it. it looks like your tail lights area already fogging up too.

OMG i love that color more than Winning Blue. If i could get some rebates on that and just get it stocked i would but i could probably get an 06 around the same price but GT so yeah.

I only have the touring option with black cloth interior.
As I was searching the Mazda dealer inventory (2 weekends ago) there were only one stormy blue in the bay area, and one in Modesto. I had to go all the way out to Modesto to get mine. But I enjoy every minute of it. Rotary accent package and fender strakes on order. Although the parts department call me and said the fender strakes were discontinued (can anyone confirmed that?) but will look for them from other dealers. I'll take some more pics this weekend , interiors too. |

That gas cap don't match. Maybe you wanted to to match the clear corner, but it doesn't flow. Gold & chrome don't match. Nice pics. only my opinion. |
Stormy Blue is the best 8 color, then red IMO..
Phantom Blue looks too sickly in full sun, OK with cloud cover or at night. SB will change color depending on sun and cloud cover...black at night. Nice pics |

I will be a new stormy blue mica owner in a month or so...plan to post LOTS of photos as I document the entire modding process. The waiting is getting to be intolerable! LOL...

IMO Stormy Blue is one of the best colours for any car....it suits the RX-8 and MX-5.. I like the 8 in Velocity Red, BUT, I like the "True Red" that's on the JDM RX-8 and export MX-5 Roadster Coupe's...sorry your PRHT! True Red is more like the old Sunrise Red Mazda used in the 70 and 80's...very similar to Ferrari Red.... I don't know why Mazda Distributors outside of Japan have not ordered True Red for the RX-8...they can request and receive almost any production combo's they want.. |

I had such a hard time deciding between Stormy Blue and Phantom blue! The cars in here all look really nice. My decision came down to wanting to be a bit more flashy after having only owned black cars up until now. Regardless, get more pics guys!

question, is the sand the only color leather you can get on the Stormy Blue? Love that color, if they had it when I bought mine, it is he color I would have gone with. Just don't like that sand leather. |
no, sand just looks the best. you can get black too, i'm pretty sure.
