Just ordered my MS kit on tue... Ill be posting pics in here soon, and in the before and after thread.....and anywhere else i can find a reason to put pics up lol.

The only major mods are the intake/exhaust and the MS kit. The rest is small stuff.
My girl owed me a grand so she bought the intake/exhaust
I won a Richard petty driving experience from hall automotive when i bout my car. Sold it on ebay and bought my kit with it.
And my buddy owns and auto body and paint shop so i get my kit painted and installed and all i get charged is cost of paint.

 

why are you custom painting it? they come painted from mazda

 

i love the MS front bumper and side skirts but the back bumper is kind of iffy. is there a back bumper that does go with the ms kit or is the stock one better with the side thingymajigys?
BTW: im going with the stock rear spoiler cuz it looks dam good on the rx-8.

 

^It's really up to you. There are many rear bumpers that people prefer over the MS one. Some people use the appearance package rear with the MS front and sides.

 

Not in the newer colors. I've been shopping around for a galaxy gray one and every time I give the part number I got off mazda's site they say it doesn't exist.

i tried to search for the question i had in the forums, so if its a requestion i truely apologize because i know how annoying it is to answer the same question over and over again. my thing is i just bought my first rx-8 a few days again, the addiction has already taken over, i was looking at the mazdaspeed bodykit that alot of people are talking about. my question is with that kit, what kind of lowering spring /coilover would be recommended at a good price. I want to maintain a great ride still but i dont want to be scraping the front bumper as if its a bodydropped mini-truck! any help would greatly be appreciated!!

Just wanted to drop a little information/research. I've been looking to purchase the OEM MS Kit for a while now and have been looking around for someplace a little cheaper than Mazda's usual rape the consumer cost and what I've found to be the best thus fas is buymazdaparts.com's pricing. The only down side is that while they ship for free any order over $150, this excludes Mazdaspeed parts. I'm not sure what their shipping rates are, but hopefully this still provided everyone who's thinking of getting an OEM MS Kit some good alternatives to retail cost.
