I also like how the rear lower bumper (the part that's molded in black) blends in with the body color and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

I have a black 8 with spoiler and am thinking I need tint since I live in Texas.

Here you go. Definitely need tint in Texas. Got mine at custom sounds on Burnet for $180. Front's are 30's, back window is 15.
I'm in Austin also and have a black rx8. Check out www.texasrxs.com , RX7's 8's club. Meeting tommorrow if your interested.

I was reading your response and saw "Burnet" and I was like - cool he's in Austin too. Right on man.

Damn...you know I've really been starting to question my choice of color...Tit Gray here, but that black just looks so GODDAMN sharp...especially with the strakes. The strakes/accents just kind of blend in with the gray/silver...black, it stands out and looks great. Also, I'm a fan of just plain stock '8s, but the MS kit on the black looks absolutely fantastic! I really have to stop looking at all these pics...should have gone black =(
