do you have a turbo or something? because in the third pic (post #417), it looks like the clouds are being sucked into the center of your hood!

All I see is white blotches over the hood.

 

Yeah, the clouds were cooperative that day. The weather, timing and fact that my sister arrived to take pictures as the sun started setting made for some really nice reflective effects on the paint (at least in my opinion). We only had about 10 minutes to get the 50 or so shots we got and it just so happened that the clouds "blotched" up right about the time we started doing hood shots.

Like I said in the other thread, after seeing the results I really, really wish I had picked a better location to take pictures.

Try a new england winter. Washed my bb last Thursday, it was looking white by Sunday. And it had not snowed in between, it's just the residual salt-sludge.

 

Ditto here too, looks like somebody put powdered sugar all over my car within hours after washing.

yes the little pebbles on the ground have been giving my front freakles since my front is fiberglass. it really doesn't help to be near the beach either.
