Thanks, I actually just washed and waxed it, that's all, using Meguiar's car soap and Turtle Wax Ice, and tire shine. The surface is pretty bad right now and needs some work. I am going to claybar and machine buff it with some 3M products I use probably on July 4th, haven't done this in a year.

I have been using Zaino ZAIO and Z5Pro polish with Meguires Swirl remover. I haven't got it a shiny as yours yet BrilliantblackRX8. Working on it.

 

Great pics guys. I used Zaino for a while back in '08, a lot of people on here like it. I prefer the Turtle Wax Ice or Meguiar's Gold Paste at this point, but that's just me.

 

I find the Zaino lasts a hell of a lot longer than Meguires and Autoglym. I haven't used Turtle wax before though. With the Zaino I do a full system every 6 months with the occasional 1 coat top up once a month or so. I love the Zaino look however it takes alot of work to use. Not as user friendly as the cheaper stuff.

 

Zaino works really well with black paint. Your car looks shiny and it does a great job. Red calipers don't look half bad on your R3. I got some curved RX8 Logos I want to paint on my calipers. They're bigger than most, so I got to see if they'll fit.

 

It was either red or Gold calipers. Unsure yet. I may change them soon.

Here is some cheap protection against rock chips for sideskirts. I added some Plasti Dip on the front a few weeks back and it is holding up well. I wish I would have done this in the beginning
