Bought the GF a Miata... Best looking cars in the lot!

After a few months of searching I was able to find my GF a 1992 5speed Miata. It has a full exhaust system with headers, intake, BRAND NEW TOP(!!!!), Pioneer CD player, 17' REV rims, bright white bulbs all around, full Wisdom body kit... the works! Its a great looking car, drives solid, and we got it for a steal, $3500 OTD. I was remarking on how similar our two cars look, and how great they both look together, and thought Id snap a few quick shots to share with everyone!

Lovingly named "Mimi" my GF's new roadster.

Cant you seem the resemblence? They both have the same sort of 'smile' dont they?

Again, the profile is stunning :P

I LOVE driving the Miata, cause you can fit into the TINIEST little gaps

Its a blast to drive, not anywhere near my RX8, but it should be a great car for her to tear around in. My GF always used to accompany me to car meets, and now we'll be rolling out there together, representing Mazda! hehe. Anyhu, we've definitly got the best looking parking spot in the lot!
Lemme know what you guys think!

i have to say, that looks really nice, i can go as far to say... cute.. hahaha. really awesome, i think the best match to the pre 2000 miatas are the rx7 and for the new miatas, the rx8. but its still a good couple.

wow shes only your g/f and you bought her a car? i hope you are pretty serious.

Maybe I'm just a cheapass, maybe I just dont have a positive outlook with women (seeing as how most are nuts), or it might be that any car I pay for is one only I'm going to be driving because I trust no one.... but I would never buy my g/f a $3500 "present" if there was ever even a REMOTE chance of her breaking up with me etc etc.

Back to the topic - it looks very nice I hope you got some serious kinky *** from her that night.

HEHE, ty guys for your comments, got a laugh out of a few of them.
Toxin: We have a VERY good relationship and we plan to be together untill I buy her another car at least :P

Tjbourgoyne: Payment plan? How so? You mean paying me back? If so, it wouldn't really be a present if she paid for it, would it? Her riding up next to me at car meets is payment enough... cars are my biggest passion in life besides my artwork and my GF, so anything I can do to bring the three together is well wort it to me Think of it this way, I never have to talk her into going to a show with me if she has her own car to take and show off.

At the end of the day, shes happy, so Im happy, and thats all that matters... but the kicker is I basically got myself a Miata to drive whenever I feel like it! WOOHOO!

You sure ya bought it for her? C'mon, admit it, you bought it for yerself.

I had a first gen., loved it, still get ribbed for it even though I sold it years ago. Only sold it cause I had no extra space and the wife was on me for all the toys.

Enjoy.

SHHHH, she might be listening!

But seriously, she wanted a Miata, I didnt talk her into it or anything. We almost gave up looking for Miatas and moved on to Golf MKIII's, but we actually found this one at a VW dealership! What luck, huh?

As for any further mods to the Miata, we wont be doing anything more than new brakes, a roll bar, new clutch and racing seats. Past that, I fully expect her to drive it into the ground over the next 4 or so years... if we get really bored, who knows, put a Renesis in it or something? :P We'll see when it finally breaks down. One things for sure, we aint selling it any time soon!

I say fixed headlights to fixed headlights and flip ups to flip ups. so pre 1996-Rx7 and 1997+-Rx8. Either way all miats look better with the hardtop thrown on.
