Unfortunately it all had to come to an end, it was extremely fun, very well organized, this was the most fun I had in years. Hopefully we can get more people to come out next year, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. My family and I would like to thank the organizers for making this an possible, the indyrx8club gang for adopting us and treating us as family, and every member that attended the even for making this a truly unforgettable experience. See you guys next year.

The place is Deal's Gap AKA Tail of the Dragon, it's between NC and TN.

and wow! totally missed the pics of the vette somehow. how'd it get those battle scars?

 

the Tail of the Dragon is a vicious road filled with TONS of turns. (I forget the actual count) Odds are the vette was driving beyond his / her skill and went off the road.

tickets were for speeding....they were written down at 70 in a 55

Thanks, "fun" doesn't even begin to describe it.

 

I think there are around 12 deaths a year there. Mostly bikers who cross the yellow line and meet face to face with oncomming traffic.
