LOL @ using newspaper for masking
i'm not a paint expert but as the dark blue part is painted on top of the baby blue, it's kinda like cloud effect, thus removing the handle to paint may not have smooth flow with the body when fixed back. i do agree on the side mirror part. anywea, it comes with 1 yr warranty

i give you serious props for doing something different, but i think it would have looked a whole lot better without the dark blue in the middle. just going from black to baby blue would have looked better when i envision it in my mind. but still, props.

Wow looks great. Your rims are hot what are they? Oh and is the hood functional or is it only for show?

the hood has an opening for cold air intake, well...it depends on individual whether it's functional or not...

u mean baby blue over black ? i saw that in the oven (had a pics in this post of that) and it's not really nice to my eyes.

no worries, once i'm tired with this, i'll go for black and white

dude are you nuts? why would you leave the black plastic parts when you are doing a full repaint like this? Monochromatic paint schemes (ok tri chromatic in this case) just ooze of customization... it is expensive for auto manufactures to paint all the black bits and pieces each color they offer, so instead, common black plastic parts can be used on every car in the production line... SO, by painting them, you further push your project car away from boring generic stock, to full out customized....
Always paint stock black plastic trim parts where ever possible! Well, maybe that's just me....

Nice job BTW!
Now go do some mountain nighttime drifting on wet roads while holding a conversation with your passenger.

Paint job is pretty sweet. With a kit and paint job that agressive IMO you need some type of spoiler on there as well as diff wheels (im partial to black wheels), but i do like the paint. Even though it mimicks the Tokyo drift car it still looks pretty badass, who cares if its same as movie. Nice.

Thats a good way of lookin at it. I personally like your car alot. It's not original (Tokyo Drift) but its still nice. I personally wouldnt like people saying "oh look its the car from Tokyo Drift!" I'd rather have people say its my car than a copy of someone elses. But each to their own. Oh btw i have one more question lol where did you buy your hood from?
