BlueRenesis82 on Road America

BlueRenesis82 on Road America.

In the first pic, I'm right behind him (look next to the side mirror).
Note his precision driving and excellent choice of line.

And then the mighty rotary starts humming and he pulls away on the straight.

I'm from Sheboygan Falls, about 15 miles from RA. I'm sorry I missed that.

2004 BMW Ci convertible. It's my wife's car most of the times although I was autoxing it a bit last year. Not a bad car but too pricy and it handles like a big fat piggy compared to the RX8 :p .

That uphill first half of the front straight at Road America is kind of a pain. I really like the other long slightly downhill straight coming through the woods after turn 3. I used to sit near there and watch the cars go by as the slammed on the brakes for the next hard left.

An aunt and uncle of mine used to live in Green Bay and we'd go down there for some races. They moved to Florida so I miss that place. I remember seeing the vintage car race there one weekend and then going to Oshkosh the next weekend for the airshow. I had alot of fun up there.

BR82 , I'm from Greendale!!! I now live in Waterford, But I work in Greenfield ( 1 block W. of House of Harely on Layton Ave.) I was at the MRR, Was that when these pix. were taken? I also did the "track tour". That was a blast!!! The 8 did EXCELLENT! So good when i pulled off the track one of the track officals that was waving cars off stopped me and told me "your car looks great out there and nice drivin'". I was never so dam proud of my 8!! Lookin forward to MRR 05' !!! :D

Glad to hear they were giving the RX8 some props.

Those pics were taken at the Brian Redman Historic races last summer.

I can't wait to get my 2 week old 8 out to the track. I'm doing a 2-day DE at Road America at the end of April .

Machan, nice shots. RA is awesome - that must have been a blast. I've been there a bunch of times usually for motorcycle racing.
