Hey everyone I am considering tinting my blue 8 gt pkg spoiler 6 spd rotary accents. The place here in town that does very good works wants about $215 to do it and I just think that is a little high so I wanted to see pics of others to help make up my mind.

that is a ripoff for sure....i would shop around for something in the 150 range.....wouldnt pay any more than that. this car doesnt have all that much window space that needs to be tinted.

I got mine done for $150, tax & all, with 5%, really good quality tint, and, of course... no receipt since them giving me one is proof that they tinted my windows to illegal point.

Anyways, I would also suggest looking for a shop with a cheaper price. If you are getting your tint at a legal %'age, then I am sure most any shop will replace any bubbled, or other problem areas.

Had my blue 8 tinted last week, $145 in n.c 30%is legal.It looks darker on blue will post photos this weekend after i install the billet grille

 

So did I!!!...I was about to FREAK!!..the dealership here in Auburn has a Winning Blue with BLUE TINT..and it is UGLY!

 

matchiong tint ot outside paint looks ugly on anything. i will but mirror tints on the white 8 for sure. it'll look tight.

Well, it's not and RX-8, and I'm generally opposed to colored tint, but damn I thought this looked good...

 

I will be having mine tinted on Monday and I took some before pics today and will post the new ones this week.

 

Nah, windows were up... I think it could have been a combination of the angle and lighting or whatever..and the view being what it would look like from the inside, which would generally appear lighter than viewing the window from the outside...i think?
