So I decided to give it a try see how they looked. I first put electrical tape on there and drove with it on for like three days Gave me a good idea if I liked it or not. Than I just pulled them out, sanded down with 500 primer and black spray paint. You cant see light through them but oh well, its better than ugmo orange.

hmm. it looks good. but i saw someone dye them with something that provided the same effect without the loss of light and the sanding.

why dont you get clear corners and smoke it?

 

no. he baked them and dyed them with something simple. let me find the diy.

 

Rit dye I believe. Also there is concerns about the sun fading the dye.

After I decide to put a autopower rollbar in or not ill go about changing the corners, but looks clean with em rpf1s. I keep looking at my own car lulz.

Black out the corners but u dont get tinted windows? Fish bowl city! Just bustin ur ***** man, at least get that rear glass tinted

 

Putting a rollbar in the car so no point so tint the windows.

 

i just used tint. light shines through just like stock.



nb: my front lights were tinted in this pic. i have untinted them since then.

 

mine are smoked too. id never go back to amber!

Looks good on red but it would still give me ugmo dark orange. I drove a good few miles besides a stater yesterday and he looked over a few times but I gave him a good smile. Nothing happened and he went on his way. Maybe if I was a civic with a hat all 'yo yo yo!' like I would have been pulled over. Than maced in the face!
