Just finished up blacking out the headlights on my rx8 also blacked out the side markers, Sorry about the shitty cell phone pics and how dirty my car is in the pics lol!

Lol I literally studied that write-up for like 4 months before I grew the cojones to pull the trigger! But it is surprisingly easy! lol good pics to come soon. It hasnt stopped raining in houston for like 2 weeks so car is dirty4

doesn't painting the reflector for the high beam decrease the light output for the high beam?

 

not a big fan of it. good job though, hopefully i might see it in person one day.

 

Wow, another fail. Rendered the highbeams to be absolutely useless.

Not a fan at all. Headlights look out of place, reminds me of when civic drivers replace their headlights with black housed projector assemblies. Props for taking the risk cutting open a $700 assembly though. If i was ever to crack open my lights it would only be to replace my lens with an FX35 lens or something.

 

lol I live in the city I have not once used the brights. Thank you for your input very useful
