Very nice! But I have to say the HREs the previous owner of that car had looked perfect with the car.

Indeed, those black hre's the previous owner rolled had a nice look to them-- (too conservative of an offset though and black wheels are not my cup of green tea)...my friend's HRE's on his porsche wouldn't hold air for long because they weren't "ROUND" enough and it was an ordeal to explain to hre customer service. Needless to say, he is a Rays wheel man now. I've had 5 sets of Rays Wheels and 2 sets of Dazz wheels--never had issues and they hold air which is an obvious plus.
As a matter of fact if HRE's floats your boat (formerly known as Hayashi Racing Wheels when they were a lot cheaper and before all their "racing heritage" marketing), you can propbably find a good amount of used wheels selling for pretty decent discounts nowadays...in case you didn't hear:
Now after reading that, take it for what it's worth...it could all be rumors ..after all you can type anything on the net nowadays (i'm half man and half fish)...but what I've seen with my own eyes is enough for me to never buy HRE or whatever new name they decide to change their wheel line to if they ever feel the negative rep is enough to warrant so.
To be honest, if some pissed off / embarassed owners are selling for 50%-70% off their original prices due to the bad press and horrible customer service, it would be worth the risk...after all, most of us would never take them to their limits which is where most of them 'claim' to have failed-- if you plan to just daily drive them, all you would really have to worry about would be the chrome lip flaking off (an entirely other story), bad customer service, and jeers from internet jockeys making fun of how crappy HRE's are. Cheers
BTW, if you know the previous owner, tell him to RETURN MY CALLS..he still owes me parts and reciepts..
