Since you are going 18x10(same as me) with a little bit taller/wider tire, I'd have to venture and say +28 to +32.

If you are going with lower offset, props! Just make sure you slam the **** out of it.

Definitely a good guess. - i'm gonna hold out on giving out the offset tho heh I am going to say it'll be both in the aggressive fitment category and the functional category. I've been mentioning this before but this wheel will be the first of my wheel venture. I plan on getting at least 3 sets of wheels this year.
1 functional
1 hella flush (thinkin' about doin' 11 wide )
1 show wheel (bling)

I also plan on getting rid of my current suspension and dumping on some coilovers but i haven't settled on which ones to get...

-btw, i can't wait to see your new set

I would say I'm within 10mm either way of being right on with the offset. Anyway, this will be the second set of wheels for my 8. The first set is nice, and I could probably keep them, get a nice bolt on spacer and some 275s and have a decent track setup(which I may do later on), but they are just way way tooo heavy for my tastes.

I would of had these wheels last month, but the GT Orange(props to tilt for helping in my decision) was in the process of being made and not in stock. I'm gona start with these at +25 and if I don't feel its enough, put my +5mm on and drop it to +20.

On the subject of coilovers though, Stance all the way. After talking with Rishie and seeing the reviews, I'm gona get the "super low" version with the regular spring rates instead of the softer versions.

Fate: +25 is definitely a good start. How much work have you done with your fenders so far? I would imagine you've done a pull.

I've been debating on stance for a while simply for the variety that they have but the flex is tempting and same thing with the pro 7. Iono, i'm fairly new when it comes to suspension so i'm still doing a lot of homework.

If your doing an 11" wide wheel...the offset would have to be around +50mm for it to be "Functional" in terms of racing.

Atilla,

I've done exactly zero work to my fenders. It wasn't required with my last set of wheels for obvious reasons, so I'm waiting till these come in and are mounted on my tires before I start messing with the wheel wells. I'm probably just going to start with a roll and see how close that gets me. You have to remember that I'm running alot of camber in anticipation of these wheels. I'm at -3 up front and -3.5 in the rear. I know it'll play hell on the tires, and I may dial in a little more positive camber but I'm not sure just yet. Once the wheels are in my hands and mounted, thats when the fun of rolling/pulling begins.

Top gear: ohhh...you're talkin' about that...

no no no. I'm getting 3 different sets. 1 is going to be functional (functional fitment). 1 is going to be hellaflush(HF fitment) and 1 is going to be specifically for shows (Shiny, huge lip, fireworks, coke, and strippers fitment)

Fate: oh mannn! Getting all that pulling and rolling/shaving is gonna be a project! Good **** tho. Have you thought about starting a thread on what you're doing?? I think it'd be pretty cool and informative.

Not entirely true. You could run an 18x11 or 17x11 with a 275 or 285 and get away with a +35 to +40 offset.

Just because you may have to roll fenders and slightly pull them, doesn't make it any less functional.

You also have to remember that you can always order BN Sports front fenders and Pansport rears and have more clearance.

Atilla I think you are getting your Shows and HF fitmets descriptions messed up. Your HF fitment should attract strippers, drugs, and should make people go holy ******* black ******.

Just saying. No need for a show set of wheels. HF fitmets make panties drop.....
