BBS rims look outstanding ..... on a German/European vehicle.

The front runner, imho, is still Jedi54 https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/jedis-new-advan-model-t5s-172577/

MI Axis shine 19 x 8.5 + 35 F, 19 x 9.5 +40 R, Dunlop Sport Max 245/35/19 ZR F, 275/35/1

Here are wheels for you Axis shine 19 x 8.5 + 35 F, 19 x 9.5 +40 R, Dunlop Sport Max 245/35/19 ZR F, 275/35/19 ZR R.
BBS are nice but I like the 5 spoked wheels and the matching color accent. New Mustang Covertable GT Premium comming Winter/Spring 2010 when Company annual lease is up.

http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mus...iumconvertible

Question now is what color; Kona Blue, Performance White, Sterling Grey or Candy Red?

Trust me the the New 2010 Mustang is hot and get better millage than my RX8 and handling is much improved 16/23 MPG, Shaker 1000 Audio and Synch wit Navigation truly this car is hot and hadles well you have to drive it to feel it. Although it sits higher than the 8 it still turns nicely and it goes believe me it goes. I love my RX 8 but this thing is cool none the less and is great for a daily driver.

If you have the Big Bucks the Shelby GT 500 was rated by Winding Road Mag, as a Super High Perforamce and is an incredible handling vehicle. That does'nt get that bad of gas millage either! 14/22 MPG about the same as my RX8 and actually better in the city.

I like the way the new Mustang looks, inside and out, but I would be waiting for the 400 hp or so 5.0 L V8 version for the 2011 model year (supposedly). Without that, I'm just not that interested. The current V8 isn't quite enough for me to make up for the other shortcomings.

We've done alot of work on this car in the suppenssion and handling
Have you drove the new GT or the GT500 yet?
If Get the New Shelby GT 500 has a 5.4L 24V supercharged V8 w 540 HP and has Brembo 14" Vented front 4 piston anti-lock brakes front and 11.8 vented 2 piston rear ABS all with AdvanceTrac® electronic stability control to give you more confidence and control behind the wheel under slippery road conditions. AdvanceTrac uses sensors to detect and measure yaw, or side-to-side skidding conditions, by monitoring the vehicle's speed, throttle position and steering wheel angle. When AdvanceTrac senses wheel slippage, it reduces engine torque and applies the brakes as needed. SVT-tuned suspension with unique shocks and springs In Mustang GT& GT500, AdvanceTrac, can be run in on, off or Sport mode, which allows drivers to push it more while still retaining control. Also 3.55:1 gear ratio with limited-slip differential.

If you haven't driven it yet I would try it before you knock it.

Even with all that work it still doesn't handle as well as a RX8 and other cars that have coilovers.

The new mustangs look goo, but they are junk. Almost lapped one at putnam road course, which isn't full of turns.

That's what I would do if I could afford it! The three cars that were on my final list of possible toys were the 09 RX-8, 2010 or 2011 Mustang GT (or better), and 370Z. If I could afford it, I would have at least bought both the RX-8 and the Mustang (probably waiting until the new engine comes along). The way I see it, the Mustang GT and RX-8 are very different types of cars with different purposes/goals. I like them both very much, but the RX-8 was more what I was looking for in my toy and occasional track car, but I sure wouldn't mind having the Mustang, too!

(and no, they're not junk, especially the 2010 GT with the Track Pack)

I agree with Huey52: those BBS wheels do look great on 2SeeKU's RX-8! I seriously considered getting some BBS wheels for my RX-8, but I wanted bronze. What I ended up getting were Axis Circuit wheels in bronze. They're on my RX-8 now (just had them put on Wednesday), but I'm waiting until the black lug nuts come in to take proper photos (the first set of black lugs were the wrong thread pitch and they had to reorder). Although I kind of wanted multi-spoke wheels for my RX-8, I love these Axis Circuits (forged and made by Rays), and the color is *perfect* for the Sparkling Black Mica paint. It looks like the color you would get if you could dissolve the gold flakes into the black paint--the wheels bring out that gold flake beautifully.
