This is my 6th Autocross

but it was my first time in Standard transmission, i also had bald tires, and needed a alignment from springs and shocks i installed...
I got 4th place in B Street Prepared

P.S The camera was very noisy so I replaced with some music enjoy..

 

looks fun, i have always wanted to try this but am never in town when it goes on. this makes me wanna do this come summer/spring

 

Looks like a very open and confusing course. They should have more directional cones, as well as pointer cones for the slalom.

 

^Yeah, I agree. Maybe it's just the video and it was easier to see in person, but I was pretty confused at one point during the first run. It's definitely a course I'd want to take a walk through before driving.

I like the front bumper view the best. An in-car-out-the-windshield view would be good too (mounted right inbetween the two front seats), and a wide angle roof mounted view would be cool as well. The one where it's pointing into the car from outside is trash

 

yea the course was kind of confusing...but the slalom was optional but it was very hard to go the other way even if you tried

 

^optional slalom? Wow I have never herd of that in AutoX.

i used to drive AT on...no battle scars from 1:07 i didnt really hit it that hard as other ppl did

 

Quite common actually. Optional just means you can enter from either side.

 

Good video. It would have been much better without that cheezy background music. Haha.

 

we have optional slaloms all the time, but 90% of drivers all figure out that one way is better and go that way. the other 10%... well... last month we had a NON optional loop and still had some chick decide to go backwards... then stop halfway... put on her blinker, 3 point turn, and turn around.

 

the music is better than loud wind blowing

there was one guy who could not finish the course and got 4 DNFs on 5 runs...on the next heat he let his friend drive who was a pretty good driver
