Do any authentic Veilside owners have a picture of the stamp or tag that is on there kits? I would like to see a close up of what is says and how it looks. Thanks.

 

It depends when it was made.

Older ones just say VeilSide and have some numbers.
Newer ones say VeilSide and have a little message in there about not copying the kits and whatnot.

 

im too lazy to go out to the garage but heres what mine says from a distance.

 

I guess mine is a rep. I have a Ver1 and there is no stamp that looks like that. I do have a sticker on it that says rx8 and it looks like some type of japanese writing. Also, it's not white or green like the replicas I've seen, it's black. It does have a Veilside engraved on the pieces though.

lokoebird FYI mine is black too and its authentic veilside from japan because they only have the urethane ver.1, when i bought it in 2005, thats mean no replica at that time if i recall the white is the replica?

ps: you can know if its replica or not, because the authentic will not get any crack if its get hit or else.. so far mine got scratch only..

 

Version 1 will be black urethane.
I don't remember those having any kind of stamp on the inside.

I don't know if the version 1 was copied or not.
