Very Nice! I flew over Phoenix a few months ago on my way to utah. Nothing but flatland, and random rock sticking out. It was pretty cool.

i was born in michigan and haved lived in arizona since 93. It's boring yet hard to leave. There's nothing to do here in tucson, and gas is too expensive to just go anywhere. How is it in Gilbert? I don't believe i've been there. maybe passed it.

I really like it. Born in VT but moved to AZ from CT at the end of June 07... helped the movers with the furniture in the 2nd week of July in 120 heat. It is quiet in Gilbert but find plenty to do in Phoenix.

Coincidentally I just drove through TX, AZ, NM. They looked the same.

Living in the mountains do you have to use 4th gear to accelerate up a hill? Or does the engine just get tired on long-distance travel, at higher elevation, in 6th gear at the same rpm for hours. I keep feeling if I don't use 3rd or 4th gear something in the engine is going to break.

I have lurked around the azmc board a bit, went to the UMS dino event a few months ago but all of their events seem to clash with my schedule. driving in NYC freaks me out!

i actually went to upstate newyork when my husband and i went on a vacation there to visit his parents. BEAUTIFUL green but yeah we are divorced now. I could handle living there it was so pretty. I've lived in michigan, arizona and texas. But neither i want to stay or go back to haha. I'm not part of any clubs. I have nothing negative to say about azmc. I can tell you my experiences and what happened if you are interested via pm but thats it. I would like to go to more car shows though but i can't find anything in tucson.

The North East sure is beautiful green but I think the desert has appeal too. I'm not sure that there are many car shows in Tuscon, not that I've heard of anyway. PM your stories when you get a moment, now I'm curious! Seem like nice people but I only really met a few of them.

The only scenery that I seen in AZ is the Grand Canyon, which was incredible! I would like to go see Sedona one of these days, any of you AZ guys been there?

Yep, Sedona's very nice.

Got lots more, really easy place to photograph. I grew up in the northeast, miss the grass and trees, and definitely like the scenery in Sedona better than Tucson. I don't think I'd want to live there though, too small.

AZ as seen from a B25

I had a 30 minute flight aboard a WWII B25 this past weekend. Lots of fun flying over the open desert...

More B25 pics

Here are some more, I especially enjoyed the tail gunner's position. The views were spectacular.
