Anyone with side graphics?
I'm buying some for my car to put on this winter. I've seen a few drivers on this forum with some side stripes on their car. Just wanted to know if anyone has any pics so I can get a better idea of what it would look like on my car. Here's what I've found so far. I'm thinking a gunmetal gray for the bb.

yup, Speeddemon came to mind right away. Keep in mind, his car is NOT a daily driver. It gets driven usually 2 times a MONTH. (1 for AutoCross where he adds MORE decals, and again for the Monthly RX8 cruise he goes on)
stripes are okay if you're into them but most don't put them on their DD RX8's.

Tough call. IMO if you have a full blown show car, sure. Otherwise having just a stripe or such seems a bit tacky for such an already beautiful car. For me the "JDM" style tuner stripe does not flow at all with the curves and lines of the RX-8.

I've not been big on stripes, but a friend has this and I've really grown to like it. I especially like how it starts around the fender curve. It's a custom job.

wow... lots of people know my car cause of my stripes! he he... SWEET! thats what i like about them.
Its not Speeddemon32 in the yellow car, its "speeddemon32 in the yellow car with blue stripes!"
he he. anyways, yeah I did them myself. I have a plotter at home and make decals on the side. They are metalic blue with a Carbon fiber outline.
It was intended that those stripes were only going to be on the car for one day, (Seven stock last year) and then I was going to pull them off. but I liked them so much I wound up keeping them on untill just a couple of weeks ago. (I have returned the car to stock, I am selling it)
Anywhoo, I have done a similar stripe for Kwescott that we put on static cling. he WAS only putting them on for autocross days, but the static cling has been givign him problems so he is no longer using them.
we are making a set for another good friend for a big race coming up,, he will only be running the stripes for a couple days... then he will be removing them.
I personally love the way tastefull graphics look. nothing makes your car YOURS like having something that is unique to your car. There are a million RX-8s out there. A silver RX-8 is a Silver RX-8 is a Silver RX-8..... I was/am lucky enough to have a yellow one so at least mine was somewhat rare, but I wanted it to look unlike any other yellow RX-8 out there, so I droped it, put some nice wheels on, and put what I like to consider tastefull graphics on.
For those of you considering graphics. You have to keep in mind that 99% of the people out there DONT like them and on forums you will get slammed for having them. (though I never really did) Just a heads up.

The pic G-Rex posted came to mind when I read this. On first glance, I thought, gah, what did this girl do to her beatiful stormy blue? Then it grew on me and I've told quite a few people about it. I think it would look great on a BB , especially if it matches your wheels. Go for it!
