Not to make too much of this issue but seriously, street glows, chrome wheels(with 225's no less... whats the point??? You might as well of bought an anchor from a boat) and a veilside rear skirt or whatever. Yet you still have to question if the validity of my claims? I'm sure you have all kinds of stupid plans in the works if you like chrome painted, body kitted, show car rx-8's.

For the record, an enthusiast would scoff at that rx-8 if they saw it in person. A ricer would sing the praises of it's glorious paint and aerodynamically flawed body kit.

If your even thinking of doing it at all. Do it right. Don't put 'chrome paint' over the existing paint. Get rid of the body panels and get them re-made in stainless steel, and then powdercoated chrome

You could sell the engine to pay for it, since it would be worthless with the weight anyway.

There was someone who polished their stock hood but I couldn't find that thread... it was someone with a winning blue I believe.

 

^ yeah he is down here in fl, i saw it in person, it was ok looking bc in the sun you cant really tell it was polished and bc you cant really tell thats what makes it ok looking LOL
