AEM Cold Air Intake Install

Hey guys, I thought I'd share some pics from my install today.

If I can get my hands on a video camera, I'll post some sound clips. Although I'm pretty sure, people are familiar with the AEM sound. In any case, it was a pretty painless install and the resultant rumble when I hit the gas is very satisfying.

Just curious,

Why did you have the wheels off and the crush bar off? Did you have some other stuff going on at the same time?

Umm, I think you have the two rubber couplers on each end swapped. Note the top and bottom couplers:

Canadian winter makes for a dirty car. It's a monumental task as you can see. I'm thinking this winter to park it and clean the **** outta there.

Also, with respect to the couplers, what's the difference? It seems fine as is.

Hey, sorry to bring back such an old post but I had the intake installed, I have the couplers swapped as well, was this ever an issue?

Lol blast from the past! I sold that car almost 5 years ago.

If memory serves, the couplers were not an issue.
