I added the UV (ultra violet) LED's to the front parking lights. The picture doesn't do it justice. They are not as bright as they look here. They are also more of a "black light" purple color too. Just seeing what ya'll think.

Does this mean that if I'm ever in Mckinney I won't get pulled over for not having a front plate??:D How seriously do y'all enforce that "trivial" law anyway?

I have never written a citation for it, but I can't speak for other officers. DPS... now I've been stopped by them for no front LP. I really don't see any of our guys writing a ticket for just that, but it could happen.

I put 4Led lights in my clear sidemarkers, I think they look pretty cool. The police told me as long as it wasn't blue or red no problem.
I might replace them with white and put them in the doors, lately they've been catching speeders with helicopters, with black lights on you're pretty easy to pick out.

The problem with the UV lighting is it looks bluish and blue lighting on any vehicle that is not an emergency unit is illegal. I have hyper white LEDs in mine and they do have a very slight blue tint but, not enough to cause attention. I thought about using white in the clear side markers but there is that legallity issue again, they must be yellow so I used amber LEDs in those.
UV lighting is cool, but, it needs to stay out of the lamps used for lighting the exterior of the RX-8.

That krayzie Mexican
Do you have a pic MikeB? I would love to change the fog light bulb to at least kinda match the headlights. Also what bulb did you use Xenomorph, and where did you get it. I might do this.

Blub #
The bulb number is 194. They are Clear Focused Ultra Violet LED's. They have 4 LED's in the housing.
I got them at http://autolumination.com/194.htm
scroll down towards the bottom and its last LED bulb selection.
When you install them, make sure you turn your lights on before you put them back in. They are directional so if you plug them in backwards, they won't work. Just trial and error.
