Jump120MPH 07-02-2006 10:58 AM

That is NICE!

mb25577 07-02-2006 05:08 PM

Hey all, thats my blue fd for sale. I didn't know my ride was making an appearance on the rx8 forum, but thats pretty cool. Anyway, I dont know how to post the link, but it is for sale on the rx7club. Just do a search for blue under the rx7's for sale and it should be near the top. Feel free to pm me with any questions or email to thormdb@carolina.rr.com. Later, Mike

And Bart I sent you and Dtorre messages and waiting for replies.

SayNoToPistons 07-02-2006 05:12 PM

hey man. why are you selling it? you just finished with the body work not too long ago.

mb25577 07-02-2006 05:40 PM

I spent too much money on the paint and body, and then the motor blew 2 weeks after, so I had to rebuild that so now I got some serious debt. I just got married (also cost a lot with rings and honeymoons and stuff), and will be moving to go to school for 4 years with out of state tuition, so I will be even more in debt. It is time to cut her loose and try to pay off some of my debts before I move. I also just need something more practical for the next four years...something with better gas mileage, a back seat, and maybe a warrenty. I was planning on keeping the car forever and driving it untill the wheels fell off, but it was just terrible timing for everything to happen at once. When I get out of school I will probably look for another one because I just love it!

Thanks for all the positive responses...makes me feel good that everyone appreciates the car so much. Almost justifies all the money I put into it.

Moostafa29 07-02-2006 06:03 PM

I just creamed on myself.

Razz1 07-03-2006 11:12 AM

Yikes !!

Red Devil 07-03-2006 03:27 PM

That is a very clean FD. Whoever purchases it, I hope they take good care of it. Those cars are not cheap to maintain.

SayNoToPistons 07-03-2006 05:43 PM

talking about maintaince. if you think it costs a lot for a 90s sports car... wait till you see the cost of the upkeep. now thats some crazy stuff. and the urge for more mods and to go faster.

LiL BenNy 07-04-2006 02:05 AM

saw that too on the rx7club.com that car is BEAUTIFUL

silvernite8 07-04-2006 07:52 AM

I had a FD. The "reliability" mods like the silicone vacuum hoses, metal overflow tank, downpipe, and radiator, etc...was ridiculous enough to have to do to a completely stock car. That Mazda released something from the factory with such inadequacies just makes you wonder what the heck they were thinking.

mb25577 07-06-2006 07:52 PM

Interior and engine pics are up on rx7club for sale section if anyone is interested. And you'll be glad to know that all reliability issues have been addressed ;)
