^^ NO they are not BHR's I had some problems with those. They offered to take care of it 1234567 times though, but I was extremley busy at work and never sent them back. This here are the stock ones. New axles werent the next step, but now they are. RGonza is using some good *** ones that have hold up very good for him, so I'm gonna try those. It is what it is, now It seems I found the right tranny clutch combo ( for now) so axles and rear end are next. I did put better tires which obviously help the breakerage, but I had to, if i ever wanted to put some power on the gorund, So breaking comes with the territory.
Lets see how work treats me, and maybe very soon I'll start working on that 8.8 rear end.

I was gonna say, if your snapping BHR axles...then you are making some hella hella power.

Good luck brother!

wow Joel, this project never ceases to amaze me. Excellent job on everything and the fact that you're snapping axles so easily just makes me want to see dyno numbers even MORE!

good luck with the subframe, let us know how it works out.

I'll try to keep you guys updated. I'm putting a stck axle that I have left and start working on the new project. I'm a little dissapointed though. my friend Emmy and I spent almost two weeks rewiring the car and making it look nice to take it for a nice ride and couldnt really make it happen. Snapped the 2 axles and cracked a third one all in 3 days. ****

If you're looking for a rear axle that won't break send Ray Hill a PM.

nope, No Orlando worked on my car. My Mechanic is Luis (Wiso) and my tunner is RGonza, everything else was done by me and my friends/employees.
Yes we are working on a 1982 corrolla. We had an Altezza engine (P.O.S) in it, but cosmos 13b-RE is on the way. The engine is in PR right now. Wiso already finished it, RGonza has it now.
Its funny, I've heard all sorts of people that say they have worked on my car. hehe

LOL yeah i figured. I know there is plenty of 20b Rx8s down there so some people prob getting mixed up. Especially when none of them get online lol.

Corolla sounds like an interesting project! we have a 81 that was gonna get swapped but just stuck with the 3tc too since its pretty reliable engine and just a DD car.

Also rear end, you gonna use the Cobra IRS? i saw a guy selling whole rear end with frame for like 800 bucks

Yeah from what i have seen the T56 holds up pretty well. I know a couple of Rx7 guys that have them and they have no problems. though idk if they at your power level but i know 1 guy at 800s.
Do you know the specs on that AT?
