Because the 20B is such a lethal weapon that even the "enemy" wants it.

Ok.. all kidding aside.. the short answer is because 600 WHP is hard to resist and would be awesome in just about any car.

Though I do agree - it belongs in a Mazda. Just goes to show which one is "better" heheh.

yeah and the rx-8 looks a lot better too... I'd rather have a 20B in that.. or a 26B

does the 26B fit in an 8?

I can't be mad since they went rotary, but still....just not something a 350 should do. Maybe they'll be at Sevenstock, lol.

VERY VERY Cool - although an LS-series engine would have been betta.

The turbo spooling sounds real nice on the dyno run in clip.

LS series engine would have weighed more than the 20B, right?

I think its really cool that someone thought outside the box and went with a rotary in a car that probably...shouldnt have one...but it's still pretty cool.

I think so but is not by much. I think it was less than 50 lbs difference. LS motors are pretty light for a V-8. There is a thread in the RX7 Club site that some one actually weight them both and it wasn't that much.

Now this is something I would consider. I would like to see the weight distribution of this car and how it handles after the suspension has been set for the new distribution. I also wonder if the 20b is lighter than the VQ35 (maybe VG35 don't remember) when turbocharged.
