2010 Sport Photoshoot :)

Nope, lowered both w/ stance c/o's. 1inch drop in the front with a 0.75 in the rear. It does look that way though... but stock the rear has a pretty decent gap.
Lol thanks! Dont tempt me though lol. Its speed platform city at work and with the height i have now I am jussst getting over these bumps @ 10mph without issue. Plus the S2's dont really give you much when it comes to lowering. When i was at the shop getting aligned the guy told me to be careful if i try going any lower because I have already maxed out my camber
I hate the fact the words "looks" and "Good" turn into ads.
Are you up for any constructive criticism for the pics? beautiful car! I've always said "For the 15 minutes a black car stays clean, it looks amazing!"

lol. Oh and i know what you mean. I clean the thing every week just to maintain its shine, or else i get some dust and spots or something from the weather here.
Word of photography advice, take it easy on the extreme angles as they become distracting. Sort of a no-no in photographing cars. Lol.
BTW - We are having a Mazda meet in CT this weekend. You should check out our club called NEPOC (all Mazdas).

Here's my blog. http://altspacerx8.blogspot.com/
quick advice..
Process your images after you take them. Adjust contrast and saturation.
Watch your backgrounds. You have signs and trees, etc, 'growing' out of your car.
Location, Location, Location. Interesting photos have more-than-the-subject worth looking at. Be creative...look what an obscure alley can do for a simple photo:

or an empty parking lot by the beach, during a storm
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3581/...9984a1ce4a.jpg
(I added the lightning).
Keep shooting...dont forget, even Ansel Adams didn't take images straight from his camera and be done w/ them. He spent hours...days in the darkroom processing his pics.

I used a Canon SD500 (nothing special), and i use Meguiars NXT wash, NXT wash, their all wheel cleaner, as well as their showroom shine glaze lol. Yes im a meguiars fanboy.
Thanks for the props man. See I have never been a fan of spacers, though for no reason other than because I have heard some people saying bad things about their quality and its effect on suspension parts. Any truth behind that?
Nope, I did a lot of research and they are used pretty often in racing, mainly on MG's and Miata's. Like anything else a lot of that depends on the manufacturing. Mine are Eibach but honestly I have seen a ebay set in person and they were machined very well and had grade 8 hardware so i would have trusted them.
I personally would not run non hubcentric spacers if you track your car or do canyon runs, etc. But I have had my car to limit running these spacers and it has not affected a thing. My car actually felt more planted during my first run with the spacers. I was little paranoid so I had the wheels off a couple of times after I installed them initially to check that they were still torqued properly and all is well.
They have not budged and as long as you install them correctly, using a torque wrench and star pattern for tightening I don't see a problem. I am now sitting on a 18 x 8" +25 stance running 245/40-18's and I love it.
Most people who talk **** about spacers have never run them and have no data or experience to back up anything they say. I did quite a bit of research and did not really find anything bad about running spacers. Hell many of the euro track cars run wheels adapters so they can run different bolt patterns and they don't seem to have problems either. the only problem I could see is with the spacers cracking or something like that and i just don't see that happening and I have never heard of anything like that happening.
There are many reputable manufacturers of spacers; Eibach, H&R, Ichiba, Kics (sic)

Like I said bro, come to the meet and we may be able to do a photo shoot.
After looking at these pics and my car a bit, I am toying with the idea of lowering the rear a bit. I think it is actually sitting a bit higher than when i first lowered it, mainly because i had the 175mm/6k in the rear and i swapped it out for the 200mm/7k. The only thing that blows is that I would need to unbolt the damper from the hub, remove the spring to access the height adjustment perch, and adjust that way. I could tweak the height a bit by adjusting rear preload, but thats never a good idea with coilovers
