1:18 Diecast RX-8

Just like the real RX-8, this model is unique. One of my favorites...

Great pics! Hehe...I've been meaning to take both my red and black models out for a photoshoot like that. Come to think of it, I should have done it yesterday....oh well. Here's my black model with some creative lighting. Mind you all I have is a simple 5 yo p&s camera.

It's got everything. Even the visors fold down. The engine bay is probably as detailed as you can get in a diecast model.

this thing is so detailed it actually has real carpet in the trunk and the floor. The steering wheel actually steers the front wheels!

A steering wheel that actualy works is not a big thing for die cast cars, but as stated above the AutoArt series of cars are some of the highest in detail, craftsmanship, and quality. I posted pics of the entire car inside and out. A must have for any RX-8 owner.

It's like a real RX-8 only 18 times smaller and it doesn't drive. Every detail is there!

I use a Kodak P850. Nothing special. Just a 5.1 MP super zoom.

FordGT, do you post at diecastxchange.com? I visit there occasionally as I have a modest collection of 1:18s. Your pics are sweet, BTW.

Even the engine cover pops off in the engine bay. Tis a cool model. Nice pics, FordGT, I recognize the name from diecastxchange as well. Sadly my collection, save a few, has been sold.

Are these prone to needing new engines?
