I had 19's and they looked too little, our cars have way too much space between the rims and fender, I like the FULL look of 20's. I've had 2 sets of 19"s on my car, and the other RX8 I had (a TI grey) I sold it with 20's also, looked very hot!



Yeah, my next performance mod is the tips... Im worried about other things right now, performance wont change if I swap the tips, I'm swapping the T618z turbo with a GT3071R already ordered waiting on it, *THEN* I will swap tips...

And *NO* I don't sell drugs, so don't ask me that question... LOL

Any advise on how to lower the front 1/2 to 1 inch more? Should I use clamps? Should I cut 1/2 turn? Not an option: Heat coils (they are Tein-S and have the green stuff around them)

Don't know the brand, but it matched the sides on the rear veilside bumper and the base matched with the license tag area...! Here is a pic...

It came out of a TIBURON that had the VEILSIDE kit... Anybody know what kind of wing this is??? I'd personally would like to know as well!

Oh, I added vertical doors and strobe lights (for car show purposes...)

Strobes are quicker, I couldn't get the animated gif to flash fast enough and wanted to flash the 3 times it does flash..

Agree, this color and black are the ones I like the most. Saw it on a yellow one and didn't like how it looked... Dark colors are ok.

 

This is a very well done car IMHO, and that's coming from someone who really does NOT like body kits or big wheels (I'm an old fashioned sports car guy). I'm really pleased that you have the performance inside to back up the aggressive hood and wing, though the wing is a little too exaggerated. +1 on the exhaust tips or maybe just shine those up more, and I would get rid of the chrome gas door--it just doesn't work on the RX-8. I love the grilles on the hood BTW. I know it's a show car, so does that mean that you don't do performance runs? Would the body kit really help on the track or is it mostly for show?
