Here are some pics of my May31 track day.
It's my first time to Buttonwillow (used to go to street of willow)
I did 5 sections.
First Section 2.22
Second section 2.16
Third section 2.16
Fourth section 2.16
Last section 2.15

Not fast , not slow, still have improvement to work on

But finally got overheat at the last 2 sections, it was almost 100 degrees on the sections, had to switch on the heater to reduce some heat [=__=||]

Kicked some butts out there, lol
some S2000s, FD, Miata, 350Z,Z4 M, M3....
But there are still a lot of cars faster than me T___T

Track day around once a month or 2 months ^^

 

That is a very very very COOL car!! ONE tip - next time you do a track day, take 10 mins and yank your front plate!



Can I get a close up of the tie-down you have stickin' out the front?

 

Awsome that pic with the FD behined you is EPIC... I wish I could hit the track more often.

 

This thread PROVES Yellow cars are faster than White Cars. Scratch one S2k, 350z, and FD.

 

why dont you remove that front plate for more air flow..

which track do you like better? trying to go to streets of willow this summer...willow springs is too much of a high speed track, its scary!

Yes....I'm regret that I didnt remove my license plate, Damn it...

ktec---well...willow spring is the first track I went to, real high speed, but still good for our 8, coz our 8 is good at high speed, but be aware, 110mph to take a corner, lol. Street of willow is slower, but you will need a lot of tires =_= a lot of low speed corners, but fun.Buttonwillow is combine, high and slow, you will need a lot of brakes...

topgear8----T__T I thought no one would see it...yea...my car was way too low after I install my coilovers, and my girl drove over the speedbump...and....crack the side skirt....recently changed back a bit higher.....dont have to worry now...lol used to scare of getting in those parking lots

Atilla---they have those photographers over there for the track.(the even hire them), they will take 3 sections for a day. And they charged $65 for a CD of all the pics you in. This time I got not much...around30 pics, last time I got almost 50. I guess too many cars this time, lol

but I think still a reasonable price. Coz no one can take pics out on the track except them =.=

 

wow, that's not bad. $65 for those kinda pic's - I'd definitely be down to do that.

Once I get my coolant light issue fixed I might be down to go with you next tmie.

1 set of brake pad and 1 set of R tires can last a year
if you break down a engine, get another one for $300 =_=

I live in Cerritos area, there is a Mazda 3 & Rx8 meet every Wednesday in the area I live. ^^
