I had a request to post the pictures of my car with the my emblems now painted black as well as the new frosted corners i installed from RotaryFX. O and i also installed the black roof strakes as well.

 

nice! looks clean, but i guess you need more black to accent the black emblems.

P.S. get rid of those vortex generators!

 

well yea as you can see it still has the dealer plates because i just got it not to long ago.

Im still going to tint the windows and smoke the tail lights as well.

Why should i get rid of them? i think they look good, and i like that it is one more black thing on the car as well. I really dont think they look that bad. i realize they are cheap but its not like they look horrible

Nice looking 8, the new ones look more meaner, except for the evo'ness lol's... the rx8 looks sooooooooo much better and cleaner without stick ons, leave those to the people who whish they had an evo

 

Those evo vortex generators aren't even on correctly. You look like your missing one on the passengers side. I have to agree with everyone else that it's not a good fit for the 8...but it's your car, even if you make 8's look bad. jk

On a positive note, everything else is looking good.

 

I think if you are going to leave the vortex generators on... you should at least place them evenly... like straighten them up and space them out evenly.

Take that junk on your roof off or line it up right, then put the "-" back on between the X and 8 and you're set

Yes i realize i messed up the placement lol, i thought i had it right and when i got to the end i realzied i messed up, they are coming off no matter what because of that spacing error i just havent done it yet. I was just debating possibly buying them again and trying to place them correctly but now i c your guys point, it is way to evo'ish so they will be off today.

Anyways my spoiler gets here on the 3rd so then ill have that and with the spoiler their i wont care about the vortex generators.

Getting my rims painted is next on the agenda, i really like the stock 18's i dont see anything wrong with them but they MUST be black.

i just put them on 2 days ago and my spoiler gets here on the 3rd so i was just waiting until im installing that on thursday to take them off.

 

Oh and the reason i dont have the dash between the RX and 8 on the trunk is because i put them back on at my buddies house and when i was putting them on i realized i had forgotten the dash, turns out it stuck to the piece of newspaper i was painting them on.

When i got home i found the newspaper and it was stuck to it, again im just waiting until i work on my car on thursday and i will be re-applying that as well

Well ive already stated they are coming off but if they werent the generators would be feeding air to my rear wing that will be here on the 3rd. But regardless they will b coming off on thursday.
