TTAC test of 370Z with RX-8 content
The article prompted discussion involving RX-8's as a gold-standard of handling. The author made the following comment:
"Just about anything seems to understeer badly if you compare it to an RX-8."

Just more power to compete with all the other cars in the same price bracket I think would appeal to a lot of performance oriented people.

More power, and it's leaps and bounds better than anything in the price range. A friend of mine who drove a 350Z for 5 years drove my 8 and said it's by far the best handling car he's ever driven. He's now waiting for the next rotary car to be released.

My 2011 MX-5 with factory "Sports (Bilstein) Suspension" definitely out handles my S2 RX-8 around the twisties...No contest.

Some interesting comments on that site. Couldn't help but notice that Mazda's rust issues were mentioned in several of those comments. I'm starting to notice that on several car websites/message boards. Wonder if they have taken note yet?
