The 8 handles the wet better than any rwd car I can imagine if you have ESC.

Yeah, I remember he said that on the actual RX8 spot. He remembered too, apparently!

Nice find, and ya know, he always brings up the RX8. He said it's his number one easiest car to drive fast, #3 all time favorite, and he drives a lot of cars haha. I agree with RotoRocket "RX8 = One of the best, if not the best, sports car values of all time." This car was an amazing step for Mazda back into rotary. It may not be an RX7, actually it's no where near one. But it didn't need to be. It's the most fun car I think I'll ever drive, it turns heads no matter where you are, and its so damn unique. I'm so glad I owned one (another to come next week! )

In terms of fun to drive factor and overall balance, including ease of living with one, I'd have to say that the RX-8 is even superior to all the past RX-7s.

yes i remember clarkson testing the rx8 1st time and he did say the tires made the handling a bit skittish in the wet, but it was probably the best car he had driven that year. he also, when rating best drives, always has an rx8 in his list, so he likes them.

he is an aston martin fan though, and has a few for himself and his misses and tends to drive the cars we only dream about. his run about is a mercedes e class i think, something fast no doubt. he did a demo of using his remote locking one time where when he went out of the cars range and put the key fob to his head and pressed the lock button, the hazzard lights would flash to show the car alarm etc activating. but when he took it away from his head it wouldn't work, it was funny.

one day i'll get me an aston martin.... one day lol
