This Clarkson character is a moron!

Dribble and opinion expressed as fact. His positive verdict in isolation would put me right off the car.

The lengthly baldness **** taking preamble reads like a cut and paste from another of his boring failed articles.

Style way above substance? Suggestion box? Messy? ... give me a break.

He doesn't even comprehend the mechanics of the engine if he believes the rotor spins at 9000rpm - that'd be the crankshaft Clarkson YOU FOOL!

Don't lose sight of the fact that he did actually like the car though. I know it's hard to find the review hidden amongst the b.s. but like it or not Clarkson is a major voice in UK motoring and his opinion of the RX-8 was very important for sales and general perception of the car (sad but true). His poor review of the 350Z had Nissan in a desperate state. You have to read the review in the context of all other J.C reviews and understand his usual writing 'style' before it becomes apparent that he does really rate the RX-8. But yes: too much waffle and not enough information.

and at the end....

.... There is, however, an upside to this. People will be so busy examining the curved front, the striking back and the endless detailing, to notice the driver’s a poof.
Bastard

He's a moron and wastes way too much time talking about irrevelent b.s., ...his analogies of what a coupe is/was ...quantifies him as "uneducated" in my book.

Thumbs down Pathetic

I guess, in the end, the only way he could diss the car was resort to homophobia.

Pathetic.

It's an English thing..... In the motoring industry in the UK this man is GOD. His approval will bolster the sales of this car considerably. This is the man that stated that the Saab that he was testing was great except for it's inability to turn corners..

That aricle is a laugh. Clarkson is a poof. The Rx-8 is great.

British slang meaning “a male homosexual,” as is its cognate poofter; both are disparaging and therefore taboo in polite use.
Polite?!
